Who we are
The best builders make the best buildings — and for the Lajeunesse family, building has always been more than a business.
For three generations, the Lajeunesse family has been building in Vermont with a focus on quality, fairness, and lasting relationships. The business began in 1962 when Roland and Jeannine Lajeunesse founded Lajeunesse Builders, growing from a basement office to a trusted name in residential and commercial construction.
Michael, their son, joined after college and helped guide the business into its next phase — expanding operations, investing in modern facilities, and introducing pre-engineered steel buildings to Vermont in 1989. With Michael as President, the company grew into a full-service contractor with in-house excavation, steel erection, and design-build capabilities for both residential and commercial projects.
Now the third generation is leading projects with the same values. Eric, Vice President and operator, and Hannah, Project Manager, carry forward the family’s hands-on approach. Together, they ensure every project — from excavation to steel to commercial builds — is completed with the efficiency and care that has defined Lajeunesse Construction since day one.
